Korean Food: Homemade Mandoo (만두)

It is a Kim family tradition to make mandoo once around the holidays. Mandoo (만두) are Korean dumplings.  When we were little, we used to watch our parents do all the work, but now with our help, we make twice as much in half the time. These aren't your ordinary dumplings that you find in the freezer section of the grocery store. They are individually filled with love and a filling that is a family recipe. The filling consists of kimchi, tofu, bean sprouts, meat and seasoning. We seal the wonton wrapper using egg wash. They taste the best steamed and dipped in soy sauce.  It is our food of choice to ring in the new year. Healthy goodness!
