Spring Preview

The weather has gotten warmer over the past few days. After seeing snow on the ground for way too long, it was nice to be able to go outside today without our scarfs, coats and gloves. Tomorrow is supposed to be 60 degrees! To say that we're looking forward to spring is an understatement.

Amazing Milk Chocolate lollipops with nuts and dried cranberries

Over the weekend we made these Chocolate lollipops for Valentine's Day. They are easy to make and fun to decorate. 

We used this recipe. We altered the recipe a little by using milk chocolate instead of white chocolate, but you can really use any kind of chocolate that you want.

Saturday morning coffee

Drinking coffee is something that we look forward to every weekend. We don't need to drink a cup of coffee as soon as we wake up in order to function. Instead, we enjoy drinking coffee at home on Saturday mornings. It is our time to catch up after a long busy week. 

We especially love using coffee mugs we bought on vacation. It is a great way to reminisce about our trips. It has become a tradition to buy a mug on every vacation that we go on. We usually drink our coffee with Almondia cookies, but today we decided to take out some special cookies that we bought in Aruba. They're Dutch (Aruba was a Dutch colony) and we're glad that Aruba still imports Dutch goods.
